Connect your TikTok account

  1. Ensure you have a TikTok Business or Creator account
  2. Go to Profiles in your Cue dashboard
  3. Click Connect Account on a profile
  4. Select TikTok from the platform list
  5. You'll be redirected to TikTok to authorize access
  6. Grant Cue permission to post on your behalf
  7. You're connected! Start scheduling videos

TikTok API access requires a Business or Creator account. Some features may require TikTok API approval.

Questions & Answers

Do I need a Business account?

TikTok's API requires a Business or Creator account for third-party posting. Personal accounts have limited API access.

Can I schedule photos on TikTok?

TikTok is primarily a video platform. Photo slideshows can be created in the TikTok app and aren't supported via API.

What video formats are supported?

TikTok supports MP4 and MOV files. Vertical video (9:16 aspect ratio) performs best. Max file size is 287 MB.

Can I add sounds or music?

Original audio in your video is supported. Adding TikTok's licensed music library isn't available via API.

Why are some TikTok features limited?

TikTok's API is more restrictive than other platforms. Some features like Duets, Stitches, and licensed music are only available in the app.
