Getting started

Connect your Twitter / X account

  1. Go to Profiles in your Cue dashboard
  2. Click Connect Account on a profile
  3. Select Twitter / X from the platform list
  4. You'll be redirected to Twitter to authorize access
  5. Grant Cue permission to post on your behalf
  6. You're connected! Start scheduling tweets

Your Twitter credentials are never shared with Cue. We use OAuth 2.0 for secure authentication.

Questions & Answers

Do I need a Twitter API account?

No. Cue handles all the Twitter API integration for you. Just connect your Twitter account via OAuth and you're ready to schedule.

Can I create threads?

Yes! Threads are available on Growth plans and above. Add multiple content items to your post and Cue will publish them as a connected thread.

What happens if Twitter is rate limited?

If Twitter's rate limits are hit, Cue will automatically retry your post later. You'll be notified if a post needs attention.

Can I schedule replies or quotes?

Currently Cue supports original tweets and threads. Reply and quote scheduling is on our roadmap.

How do I disconnect my Twitter account?

Go to your profile in Cue and click Disconnect next to the Twitter connection. You can also revoke access from Twitter's Settings > Security > Apps.
